Note - Each of these blogs can be read individually, or in order. Its suggested to read them out loud, it will have 1000x the benefit.
I've recently re-watched the Century of the Self and continuing with my blog from yesterday.. this is the way through to being a creator instead of consumer
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed the label of consumer
I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that I can go from consumer to creator
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed the total obsession of consumerism, where I find my self worth and enjoyment and happiness tied to buying things
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that advertisements are brainwashing tools constructed by corporations to make me feel incomplete unless I purchase the product advertised
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to use social media with the starting point of consuming
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe that when I buy something it will provide me with lasting happiness
I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that each dollar I spend is able to be an investment in creating what is best, instead of a reactive decision to try and fill a void within me
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed the century of the self to be the programming of the self-interest, valuing self interest ONLY above creating a world that I actually want to see for myself and my kids and for all people
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to make consumption more than it needs to be, instead of just a practical part of life such as consuming food, consuming resources that can serve as the input, where I can then process the input and CREATE from it
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to fear the discomfort of being a creator instead of a consumer
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed a self image and identity of my self as a consumer instead of being a creator, here able to build things in reality instead of sucking the planet and my life force dry
When and as I notice myself participating in the consumer program I will stop and I will breathe
I realize that the consumer program was intentionally integrated into society in order to fuel the economy
I realize that consuming things is not good or bad, it simply is an aspect of life and I can intentionally consume with the starting point of being a creator
I realize that I can create with my life and I can create a system where consumerism is a thing of the past
I realize that each dollar I spend can be an investment in the movement of creating a world system that is best for all
I commit myself to use my money and my life to create the best possible outcome for all
I commit myself to consume wisely
I commit myself to see every social media post as fuel by which I can transform the words and images into something that is life-giving
I commit myself to see shopping, malls, the entire economy as an infrastructure that is here and that can be converted into a life giving system that honors the principle of what is best for all
I commit myself to use my body and mind to CREATE instead of consuming my body with my mind as the mind is sourced from the body and within this I commit myself to show that a mind calibrated to what is best for all is the only mind worth having
