What I mean by polarity is with electromagnetics there is a positive and a negative side. They repel each other.
And when we see only ONE side of a situation, refusing to see the other, refusing to forgive the situation overall, only participating in resistance, and not coming up with a solution that is actually best for the WHOLE.... well.. that is the polarity trap.

We get stuck and further create more polarization and problems.
The situation in Minneapolis has been escalating over the past few weeks
This is the city I was born in, I love this city. I see it has become a conflict zone with the underlying tensions raising to the surface.
I see both sides
On one hand - you have people seeing ICE as a police force exerting their power, killing Americans and rounding up people to deport them.
On the other hand - you have ICE rounding up criminals who have committed crimes to get them out of America.
In both ways of looking at it, its a split view with both sides not willing to see the other.
And I get that but the purpose of this blog today is to bring it back to SELF.
Notice where we are 'dug in' into our current way of seeing things that we are not making room for solutions to emerge.
On one hand you can take it to the extreme that ICE is a fascist regime with potential to be worse than anything we've ever seen.
On the other hand the other argument is 'if you're not breaking the law, then you have nothing to worry about', ICE is doing good work to remove violent and dangerous people from America.
All of this is shrouded in propaganda, high emotion and violence.
I do know we can all bring it back to ourselves.
And this is what my blog is about today for those who can see this and genuinely WANT to create solutions.
It's gonna come from life within us emerging forth. Not from sticking to our polarity trap.
So the question -
Where are we each going into the polarity trap?
This looks like ONLY seeing it from our side, and looking at the components instead of at the system.
I see my role in this is the change the system, and this starts with changing myself and helping the others who can see this approach
So thus, bringing it back to self - self-forgiveness
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not understand the other side of a disagreement
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe I am always 100% right and the other side is wrong
I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that my foundational understanding of the world, of my entire vocabulary and the words I use, has come from a educational system that taught me to think it 'parts' instead of seeing the 'whole' so by default I see the symptoms but not the problem
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to take for granted the underlying conditions here causing the issue, our education system has failed us, our money system keeps us indebted as slaves to a survival based system, and we each have accumulated memories/thoughts/emotions within ourselves, and the amount of self-forgiveness and self-correction is minimal...
All of these components:
Education system (meaning the vocabulary and fundamentally how we define our world)
The money system - how we value money over human life
Our own mind-system - how we have a constant stream of new thoughts, feelings, emotions coming from emotionally charged memories, and we don't know how to automatically instantly process it and be able to remain here, clear and directing reality...
ALL of these systems are intertwined and each as an individual can take responsibility
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to believe I can just sit on the sidelines, let these sides battle it out
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that 'getting off the sidelines' doesn't mean that I now go on the front lines where ICE and the protestors are clashing, its rather creating the strategic systematic input to create the voter base and political party that is EDUCATED, understands systems thinking, and can together come about with systematic solutions such as - effective training, clear understanding of the law, clear understanding of what immigration means, understanding what is legal vs illegal, understanding what is the role of community, what kind of principles are our communities going to be built within, what is the cooperation of state and national government. All of these are systems that need to be purified, because we have a polarity trap at each and every level. Both 'sides' see it different, and thus no coherence and thus maximum chaos until its sorted.
I can do my part
I can unite those looking to make the difference, those who are driven, those who are open to standing in the shoes of another and seeing what will make this best for all.
For example - with our money system built on the US dollar where we print money from the Federal Reserve, you may not see how that is related in the moment and that just shows you how the education system didn't help us understand the world for real.
For example - why are there so many immigrants coming to America?
America has systematically fucked over the world as they rose to Empire over the years
It's not to blame. This is about 100% responsibility.
But if the conditions in Guatemala for example, were so good, everyone thriving, everyone educated and a money system that allowed for people's basic needs to be met, over 1-2 generations this would be a better place where the people would not seek to come to America because their homeland would be set up systematically for thriving, bringing about the best local economy, local communities etc.
But all of this requires HUMANS who actually care, who are willing to drop their biases, willing to re-educate themselves, understand systems thinking and understand that how we define words (consciously and unconsciously) this is vital to understanding how to change our world.
This is what I am focused on every day through uniting more and more of the change makers, the anomalies to the current system.
I can see both sides. I can see this is unsustainable if we keep at our current rate of clashing.
So instead of 'locking in' and saying 'this is the way I've always seen it, this is how I'm gonna see it' rather review these principles and ask yourself... am I willing to figure out what this looks like to LIVE, and am I willing to find the others who are open enough to hear this...
And then 1+1 we can make the change grassroots. Don't the kids of the future deserve it?
I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to hold onto the polarity trap, seeing only part of the solution and not the whole thing, because I am stuck in the energy of the situation instead of seeing the life force within all, that wants to come through as we create solutions that are best for all Life, honoring Life because reality IS Life and reality doesn't want to suffer. Reality wants to emerge in a way that honors all Life. We must align with it and as it.
I commit myself to as LIFE, drop the polarity, to breathe, to see the solutions of coming together within principle, re-educating the world 1 by 1 and creating a solution to the education system, to the culture, to the money system and how we see each other.
